Golfing for a Great Cause: The Annual Trace Bulger Fundraiser

Custom Concrete is dedicated to building a better community, one foundation at a time. Through organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Anna’s Celebration of Life, our employees have given their time, talent and gifts to help better the lives of those around them for years. This spring, we are coming together to support another organization in the hopes of improving the life of a young man.

Back in 2015, Trace Bulger and his family were preparing for college. The recent high school graduate was planning to attend Wabash College in the fall, where he was looking forward to playing football and setting out to follow his dreams. But after a few months on campus, it became apparent to Trace and his parents that something was wrong. He was struggling with his balance, coordination, and even his ability to swallow. By Thanksgiving of his sophomore year, he was back at home and now requires 24/7 care. He’s lost his motor control skills, ability to speak and is confined to his bed where he must rely on a feeding tube for all nutrition. Sadly, after numerus tests and treatments, his family is no closer today than they were four years ago to determining what is wrong with Trace.

This month, his family with the support of friends and community partners, is celebrating Trace through the first Annual Trace Bulger Fundraiser & Golf Outing. The outing will be hosted at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville on June 14, 2019 at 9:30 am. All funds raised from the event will go towards Trace’s medical bills and to support his family as they continue to care for him and work to find a diagnosis and treatment.

Tickets are available at and include options for dinner guests as well as sponsorships.
