Prayers to the Carr and Custom Concrete families

Joe Carr, gave me my second job at ever, at Custom Concrete, and my first real job. I was there with Tom Carr when Jim Passed. We made it through those trying times. The whole Carr family embraced me while Tom and I both dealt with that. Joe was always rooting for my success and if ask he would tell folks how much he thought of me. I hope he felt how highly I thought of him, and Betty as well! He was someone I always looked up to and looked forward to seeing on my trips back home! He was my boss, my Sunday school teacher, and a life-long friend! God bless the entire Carr family to include the Custom Concrete family! The man left large shoes to fill!

Wonderful man and family.

I’m so sorry to hear the news. Prayers to the entire Custom Concrete family.

Joe will be greatly missed in our church family. We thank the Lord for the assurance of Scripture that he is at home in Heaven. Yesterday’s tribute was amazing, and very deserved. May God continue to comfort and bless the Carr family.

My condolences to the entire Carr and Custom Concrete families. Joe was a great person.

Rest easy Joe can’t miss the smile and old trucks he drove.

So sorry for your loss. I didn’t have the pleasure to meet Joe but the company he built is top notch. Great family and employees.

One of the greatest men I’ve ever known. He will be missed. How blessed I have been because of Mr Carr’s passion and vision. Forever grateful.

Joe was a good friend of my wife’s late step-father, Buck Erwin Sweet. Buck owned PermaStructo in Sturdevant, WI and passed many years ago. He always spoke so highly of Joe and would try to meet him at World of Concrete every year and when he would come down to Indianapolis to visit us. Certainly, Joe was respected and admired.

Meet Mr. Carr one time @ the shop & he took the time to talk about the good old days & how things had changed. Nice man, great owner & will be missed by many!

A tremendous testimony to a life our Lord will say “Well done, My good and faithful servant.

So sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. Heard a great deal about him but never had the luxury of meeting him.

A great man whom I will be forever indebted to for the growth of Midwest Concrete Pumping in the 80’s and 90’s.

What a great legacy!

Our sincerest condolences from our family to yours. May God comfort you.

What a Legacy! Outstanding company and amazing people. It all started at the top, incredible example Mr. Carr built!

Condolences to all at Custom Concrete. I had the pleasure of doing business with Joe over the years…he was a great influence on many. Will be missed.

Sending the Carr Family and everyone at Custom Concrete my deepest sympathies. Mr. Carr was a great man, I enjoyed getting to know him the seven years I worked for Custom.

Our deepest sympathies to the Carr/Custom Concrete family. Joe was a pleasure to be around and always willing to share his ideas with everyone in the CFA and with our company. Sending prayers from the Herbert/Morris/Herbert Construction families.

Amazing man that will be missed. His legacy will live on!

It is with deep sympathy and sadness that we feel today learning about the passing of Joe Carr. Joe embodied everything that was good. He was a “man for others”. He was a leader not only of Custom Concrete, but in the entire industry. He set the example for what leadership should be.

Joe Carr was a truly inspiring man. I will miss his visits and our conversations.
